Weight Reduction/Dieting

Main focus for weight reduction therapy is to use acupuncture to reduce the craving for food and develop nutrition program.

On a typical Two months (8 visit) program, patients will experience a weight loss of 15 ~40 pounds.  Since balanced nutritional program is part of the treatment, those who wish to lose more can continue on until a target weight is met.   During the treatment, patients will actually feel healthier, more energetic and reduce the craving for food.

Smoking (Stop)

Dr. Kay has many patients successfully reduced or completely eliminated cigarette dependency.  Her Acupuncture treatment takes approximately eight weekly visits and special diet to maximized the reduction therapy (actual duration may vary).

During this treatment, Acupuncture is mainly used to stop “craving” for cigarettes.   Special diet is required for de-tox the body and revitalizes vital organs.
